Author: The Millennium Falcon 7965 Star Wars Lego toy is a great Christmas gift idea for any kid who adores the Star Wars movies. Actually, adults who are Star Wars collectors or fans, would probably be thrilled to get one as a gift, as well.
The 7965 model Lego set replicates the well-known Death Star escape scene in Star Wars Episode IV “A New Hope”. Once the Millennium Falcon has been put together, “impressive” would be a good word to describe it. It is certainly the type of Christmas toy that would not be pushed aside and forgotten.

Whether Or Not To Buy Lego Star Wars Millennium Falcon Set
Once put together, the Millennium Falcon toy set model looks quite impressive. The large size of the Lego 7965 Millennium Falcon affords plenty of access to the inside, which kids will like. Its roof area consists of folding panels. This provides an easy way for most of the various areas of the 7965 to be revealed.
The mini-figures are perfect for kids to use to help them recreate the well-known escape scene from “A New Hope”. Some people however have complained that with respect to the cockpit they feel it is a little small.
With respect to the mini-figures, not much has been seen in terms of improvement since older Star Wars set versions. A lack of upgrade to the mini-figures could be considered a downside for some. However, the Darth Vader figure does appear to be more detailed. Some kids may be disappointed that R2-D2 and C-3P0 were not included.
Because of the small parts the Legos Millennium Falcon model 7965 set is not suitable for kids under 3 years of age. Due to the complexity of putting the Falcon together, it is recommended by Lego that age of the child should be between 9 to 14 years. Of course, with help and supervision from Mom or Dad, younger kids could enjoy it too.
In terms of price, The Lego Millennium Falcon 7965 is certainly not among the cheapest of the Lego sets. However, a lot of parents consider the price to be well worth it, because of the many hours of enjoyment their child derives from it.
Also, it has been designed to actually be more durable than previous versions of the product. Durability is hugely important when it comes to kids toys.
